CubCam is now fully compatible with Garmin's new AXIS™ integrated flight display system, bringing proven infrared enhanced vision technology to Garmin's next-generation avionics platform. Originally developed in partnership with CubCrafters and fully integrated with the Garmin G3X, CubCam seamlessly transitions to AXIS™, allowing pilots to view live thermal imagery directly on the flight display. With a simple selection on the display, pilots can instantly switch between synthetic vision and real-time infrared imagery for improved situational awareness when operating in darkness, smoke, haze, or other reduced visibility conditions.

Designed specifically for the demanding backcountry environment, CubCam combines advanced long-wave infrared (LWIR) imaging with an ultra-lightweight, low-power design that requires virtually no pilot interaction. The system helps reveal terrain, runways, roads, obstacles, and other critical features that may be difficult or impossible to see with the naked eye, giving pilots an additional layer of awareness during departure, arrival, and en route operations.
