HOOD TECH AERO

The Hood Tech Aero Operations Hangar is a secure, fully equipped facility designed to support flight operations, technology demonstrations, training, and mission planning. Featuring dedicated workspaces, modern communications infrastructure, secure storage, and on-site operational support, the facility provides an efficient environment for successful mission execution. Designed to accommodate a wide range of operational requirements, the hangar enables teams to prepare, coordinate, and deploy with confidence while supporting mission readiness from planning through execution.

MISSION OPERATIONS & SUPPORT

  • Cameras are positioned around the premises
  • Safe for sensitive materials
  • Conference room with air conditioning, a whiteboard, and a monitor with connections. seats 8 + 1-2 instructors
  • Primary Ops area with multiple Ethernet port connections and monitors
  • Light refreshments and snacks available

HANGAR USAGE

The time slots for full day operations are designed to start as required and extend beyond half-day operations to include night or after-hour flight launch support. Includes:

  • Exclusive use of the Operations Hangar
  • Ground support for preparation, setup and takedown
  • Optional use of the Mission Command Vehicle and ground station antenna

Command Truck

he Mission Command Vehicle (MCV) is a mobile, self-contained workspace supporting demonstrations, testing, evaluation, and mission operations. Its integrated Ground Control Station (GCS) provides sensor evaluation, payload control, and live video/data distribution.

A deployable 50-foot mast with tracking antenna enables reliable long-range aircraft communications. The vehicle also includes exterior viewing displays, an awning, flood lighting, and an onboard generator for independent operation in various environments, with additional power available for customer equipment.
